Used car valuator

What is it roughly worth?

A transparent depreciation model — age, mileage and condition — that gives a ballpark estimate.

Model estimate — not a market price. This tool does not use dealer-guide, auction or listing data (such as TransUnion, Lightstone or eValue8). Real values depend on specification, service history, location and demand. Reference prices are invented examples.

Value walk

Typical value by age — same model, average mileage, “Good” condition

How it’s calculated

Age factor = (1 − d₁)min(age,1) × (1 − d)max(age − 1, 0), with a minimum age of 0.5 years for near-new cars. Mileage adjustment = −2.5% per 10,000 km above expected (km per year × age), capped between −25% and +15%. Condition multiplier as shown. Value is floored at 8% of the reference new price. Range ±8%; indicative trade-in 12% below the estimate. All parameters are illustrative.
Information, not advice. Illustrative estimate based on the assumptions shown. Not a valuation or an offer to buy.
